Postcrossing

I joined post-crossing a few days ago. I had heard about it before but never actually joined.
I just sent my first 4 postcards, they are going to Russia, Thailand, Belarus & Japan!  Will be interesting to see where my postcards come from.

24 hour Smash challenge

I joined the 24 hour challenge . And this is the page I created for the 2nd challenge, using flowers & washi tape! I didn't get a whole lot of time over the weekend to sit & Smash due to work.

I printed out a pretty postcard that I found on Pinterest  and took pics with my Instax camera.

Ribboned!

 so.....I found this metal dress form at "The Reject Shop" for $45.















I thought it would look great covered in ribbons!! I had so many ribbons in my stash it was great to finally use a few of my favourites. It took me about 6 hours over 2 days to cut and tie all the ribbons on, it was fun though! Love how it turned out :)

Smashy pages

So lately I have been 'Smashing', sort of like scrapbooking but not!  This has brought my creative side out again as I hadn't made a scrapbook page in a long time. Since I started Smashing I have also been making little tags, stamping, and
other little bit and pieces to put in my Smash book. As well as Smashing I have made the mixed media canvases I put on here earlier.  I love creating!

So today I took a little walk around my home (emphasis on little) to take some pics of some of my creations that I have 'just lying around'. I have done a LOT of different arty and crafty things.......here are some of them!

I just received an email from Sawyer's Place telling me I have a place as 'guest designer'! They put the call out for guest designers on April 3, I thought I would give it a go and sent the only pics I had of projects I had done using washi tape (they weren't that great either!)  see them below.................

I can't wait to start 'designing' lol

maybe I will start practising already! i do have a LOT of washi tape!

I love shopping in the city! Although it takes around 4 hours to get there!
Every school holidays I like to take a day trip to Melbourne with 1 or both of my kids, this time I took one of them. I spent most of the time shopping but we also had some 'kid fun' time at the Melbourne Museum.

We went to 3 Typo stores, I had an $80 giftcard to spend so this what I bought....
